JD Amanda Petersen

Amanda Petersen is a third year Juris Doctorate Candidate at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Her academic focus is international law, rule of law, and human rights law. She spent six months studying at the Rule of Law and Governance program hosted by the McCain Institute in Washington D.C. During her time in D.C. she also interned with the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Human Rights, Labor and Democracy. From May through July of 2017 she received a transnational law grant to complete a fellowship with the National Democratic Institute Albania field office. She graduates in May 2018, plans to take the American Bar Association Exam and practice in the field of international law.
